New apron markings

Our rectangular apron is known to be less than ideal in terms of shape. We have therefore worked with our partner project-airport to develop a new parking and taxiing concept for the apron that takes into account the optimal use of parking positions for different aircraft sizes.

Note on utilisation:

To ensure that the parking spaces can be used effectively and that the taxiways are free of obstacles, it is essential to ensure that vehicles are parked directly at the parking position (yellow/orange crossbar) and not metres in advance, so that the vehicle is within the parking space boundaries (red markings). This also applies to aircraft after retrieval and intermediate parking!

The markings are laid out and measured in accordance with ICAO and NfL regulations.

Below you can see the new layout, the red markings represent the stand boundaries.
