Enquiries for commercial photography and filming
Film and photo shoots at our airport for commercial use are generally subject to registration and authorisation.
Invoicing is based on the hours required and the work involved in accordance with our price list for "Services" as amended from time to time

The following rules and conditions for commercial film and photo shoots must be observed:
Commercial film and photo shoots are generally subject to a fee.
Billing is based on time, effort and areas used.
Photography and filming for journalistic purposes (public reporting) are free of charge, but must be registered with the airport administration:

Conditions:
- Film or photo teams are obliged to take out their own liability insurance for the filming.
- Flughafen Hof-Plauen GmbH is exempt from legal liability claims.
- FHP will create a briefing/utilisation protocol (checklist) for the requested use.
- Each film or photo team shall nominate a responsible person who shall sign to ensure compliance with these rules and the Aerodrome User Regulations (FBO).
- Photography/filming work in the areas subject to clearance (runway and/or taxiways) is only possible after prior instruction, authorisation and air traffic control clearance with radio communication. If instructed to do so by the tower, the restricted area must be completely cleared within 10 minutes!
- Film and photo work is also possible in the public area of the airport without an escort.
- At the start of filming, the team must report to the operations department at GATE 1 / GAT entrance.
- A registration period of at least 14 days applies to all film and photo work that does not have to be carried out for a current event.
- When registering, please state the time frame, filming locations and number of participants.
- FHP staff may only be filmed upon direct request and with the prior authorisation of the FHP management (right to one's own image).
- Recordings of facilities and vehicles of an automobile testing operation at the airport are prohibited in all cases or, if unavoidable, must be made unrecognisable in post-production.
- As a matter of principle, all licence plates of recorded aircraft must be made unrecognisable (pixelated, retouched).
- Cables must not be pulled for safety reasons, as they can be a hindrance or source of accidents for passengers and operating personnel.
- When filming with drones/UAS on the premises, the production company or the person responsible is responsible for obtaining additional permits and authorisations (e.g. from the aviation authorities) and must submit these to the air traffic control centre/tower before filming begins. The operation itself must be coordinated with the tower.
- Authorisation to broadcast is only deemed to have been granted for broadcasts that are directly related to the registered work.
- Subsequent broadcasting to illustrate/illustrate other topics/contributions is not permitted and is hereby prohibited or must therefore be authorised individually (subject to a fee).
- Flughafen Hof-Plauen GmbH will always receive a specimen copy of the recordings.
- In the event of any disputes, the FHP management or the tower will decide directly.
- The above rules and conditions are binding!
Private users:
Photographs and/or filming at a specified location on the apron:
- free of charge up to 2 hours.
- thereafter a one-off charge of € 30.00
Photographs on the runway and/or taxiways: flat rate of € 100.00
Photo shoots on test track/multilane: flat rate of € 75.00
The maximum duration of use for private users is 4 hours!
Use of Drones will be charged extra additionally to the costs above.
Please note that film and/or photo shoots for current reporting are also subject to registration and authorisation. These recordings by official journalists and reporters as part of public reporting in the press, radio and television are exempt from fees.
