Flight operations 2026 - adjustment of IFR operating times

Dear customers,

Due to the current understaffing of tower personnel, we have had to make adjustments to our flight operations in order to maintain air traffic control. This mainly affects IFR flight operations on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays since February 2025. On these days, operations will only be ensured under VFR conditions with an air traffic controller. Air traffic control and therefore full IFR operations are therefore not possible.

On weekends and public holidays, we have therefore adjusted our operations during our normal opening hours as follows:

Mon, April 20, 2026 - 07:00-15:30: AD/IFR PPR, break between 12:30-14:00 (VFR only during this time)

Tue, April 21, 2026 - 07:00-15:30: AD/IFR PPR, break between 12:30-14:00 (VFR only during this time)

Normal operations resume from 15:30 to 20:00 each day!


Sat, April 22, 2026 - 09:00-19:00 - break 13:00-14:00 (VFR only during this time)

Sun, April 23, 2026 - 09:00-19:00 - AD PPR (VFR only, IFR with Z/Y flight plan possible)

However, flights with flight plans according to Y or Z rules as well as according to NfL 1-297/14 are still possible under VFR operation!
