Flight operations 2026 - adjustment of IFR operating times

Dear customers,

Due to the current understaffing of tower and ground personnel, we have had to make adjustments to our flight operation times. This mainly affects IFR flight operations on single workdays, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays since May 2026. On these days, operations will only be ensured under VFR conditions with an airport operator. Air traffic control and therefore full IFR operations are therefore not possible.

On single workdays, weekends and public holidays, we have to adjust our operations as follows:

On weekends and public holidays we have therefore adjusted our operations during our normal opening hours as follows:

Mondays - Fridays: FULL SERVICE (IFR & VFR, PPR restrictions possible, see list below)

Reduced or restricted operating hours (IFR & VFR) – All times local!

Sat, 22 Aug 2026: 09:00–19:00 LT (break 12:00–13:00 LT: VFR only during this time; Z/Y flight plans possible)

Sun, 23 Aug 2026: 09:00–19:00 LT - No CTR – VFR only, Z/Y flight plans possible (break 12:00–13:00 LT)

CW39 (27.09.26)

Reduced or restricted operating hours (IFR & VFR) – All times local

Sun, 27 SEP 26: 09:00–19:00 LT - No CTR – VFR only, Z/Y flight plans possible (break 12:00–13:00 LT)

Hint

However, flights with flight plans according to Y or Z rules as well as according to NfL 1-297/14 are still possible under VFR operation!
