Flight operations 2025 - adjustment of IFR operating times
Dear customers,
Due to the current understaffing of tower personnel, we have had to make adjustments to our flight operations in order to maintain air traffic control. Since February 2025, this has mainly affected IFR flight operations on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. On these days, operations will only be ensured under VFR conditions with an air traffic controller. Air traffic control and therefore full IFR operations are therefore not possible.
On weekends and public holidays, we have therefore adjusted our operations during our normal opening hours as follows:
Mondays - Fridays: FULL SERVICE (IFR & VFR, restrictions may be possible, see list below)
Saturday, Sunday, public holidays:IFR PPR (VFR no restrictions)

However, flights with flight plans according to Y- or Z- rules as well as according to NfL 1-297/14 are still possible under VFR operation!
